About this speaker
Luke J Williams is an accomplished Project Manager and licensed Architect with extensive experience in the field of architecture, design, and construction. He currently serves as a Project Manager and Design Manager at WKF Inc., where he leads and oversees the design and construction of a variety of projects, including managing tenant turnover and build-out, converting an office building into affordable housing, planning and overseeing large-scale shopping center redevelopment, facilitating franchising deployment, and managing hotel repositioning efforts.
Prior to his role at WKF Inc., Luke was a Project Architect for Benjamin Woo Architects, where he led the team for Lilia Waikiki, a 28-story mixed-use project in the heart of Waikiki. He managed the in-house architectural team and external consultant and engineering team through design development and completion of construction documents, as well as collaborated closely with the Brookfield Development Team through pre-construction and value engineering exercises and led the construction administration effort for Lilia Waikiki.
With his experience as a Founding Partner of KouWork, a co-working space in Kaka'ako, and as the former owner of The Wedding Cafe Honolulu, Luke has also demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills in developing business models and managing daily operations. Luke earned his Doctor of Architecture degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapalama.
